I am Arjun.

 

Present put forth, I am a free spirited traveler, passionate about movies and music, who happens to run a creative communications agency, Grasshoppers India Pvt. Ltd. And the entire show took me about 21 odd years to carve out.

Before I ended up in New Delhi, I was everywhere. Literally & figuratively!

​

Born in Maharashtra, I moved on to cities gathering exposure, not experience then. Studied in places and subjects, out of the differences in opinions of my parents!

​

Just when I was figuring out the nuances of life, I had to step out of my home to experience them for myself. You know ‘the rebel with a cause’ types! And then began the journey, scouting the length and breadth of our beloved country.

​

Professions came with passion. From being a market research executive with a zilch pay to a sales rep in a budding Fortune 500 company to a rookie in some advertising agency to a teacher to emerging as a creative head in one of the erstwhile top 10 agencies to becoming a fledgling entrepreneur learning to fly, to the position I am writing this piece from… the journey has been, well, interesting!

In all these years of discovering myself, I have realized that nothing could be more gratifying than giving shape to your dreams. Hence over a period of time, I went ahead to form a PR firm, GreenThumb and the following years saw Grownups spread our digital wings. Together with my teams, we trained people, nurtured brands and even weathered challenges, no matter what were thrown at us!

Over the decades, exploring places and interacting with various kinds taught me life and I ventured into making a difference in the lives of the mountain folks, where I live! I harnessed organic farming and made a brand called OmShiveda, thus created employment opportunities for the local villagers, especially during the pandemic.

​

Since shuttling between cities and mountains has become my lifeline, what would have been better than launching a concept café for the weary travelers, in the middle of a mountain route? And I named it Eleven – The lounge café!

​

In a nutshell, I have been a bohemian, ambitious, hard-working, life-embracing, thoughtful, sensitive & adventurous identity who has made it so far. Adjectives sound nice if they are well experienced! Though I am not the extrovert type but one thing I have learnt in life… travel far & wide, and bond, just bond.
